Sorry for my Grammar, english isnt my native language. I've searched all around the insternet for any posts with similar problems but none of their "fixes" have fixed it for me (for example to use another 8-pin connector from your psu or the driver install wihtout the adrenaline sofware) so i hope someone can help me. The third and now present installment of the drivers i made, is when i didnt install the Adrenaline Software and only istalled the Display drivers, which helped at first but under load I now get Artifacts before the Game freezes, which was i wasnt able to record yet. Troubleshooting: I uninstalled the drivers three times with DDU and also have deleted all Nvidia drivers with DDU. I also was able to record one crash if it would help seeing it. The company released a gaming-oriented version of the browser, Opera GX, in 2019, and a blockchain-focused Opera Crypto Browser into public beta in January 2022. I am able to reproduce the crashing when I run FurMark for 1-10 minutes, shortest was 1 Min and the longest it held up was 10 min. This happened with Escape from Tarkov on Lowest settings, Apex Legends also mostly on low and very rarely with Overwatch 2 with medium Settings but its very rare with OW2. Maybe there's a crash fix that just hasn't made it to Opera GX yet.GPU Drivers: Newest Drivers from AMDs website ( Adrenalin 22.11.2 Recommended (WHQL) but only the display drivers not adrenaline, tried with adrenaline but the crashes were even more often)īackground Applications: DISCORD, sometimes Opera GXĭescription of Original Problem: When I am playing Graphicly intense Games, the Game freezes after 10-50 minutes playing it and i get a blackscreen and an AMD message pops up saying i had a Driver Time Out and after that everything goes back to normal, till i play that game again. You could temporarily install regular Opera, Opera Beta, and Opera Developer and test if they crash too. When you're done testing, if you want your old profile back, close Opera, delete the new profile folder, and rename your old profile folder back. If so, the issue is probably with your profile. Test in that fresh profile to see if the crashing is gone. For Opera: KeePass Auto-Type for Opera (add-on for Opera 12). If this causes Opera to crash again, remove your browsing data. If a clean install solves the issue, you can copy over your backed-up files into your new Opera profile. Then, close Opera and rename the profile folder so that when Opera starts up, it creates a fresh profile. + Fixed crash if automatic backup on open was enabled with no DB autoloaded. Uninstall the Opera application from your computer. Don't delete your data when uninstalling if given the option.Īnother thing you can try is: Goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path. I installed Opera GX today and so far it crashed 2 times. You might want to reinstall Opera too just for good measure. Disable unnecessary add-ons and plug-ins Click on the Opera icon from the top-left corner of Opera, then select Extensions followed by Extensions. This is because the issue might be known to the developers and has been fixed in an update. If not though, put hardware acceleration back on. The first thing to do if Opera keeps crashing is to update the browser. Extensions wont be carried over to the new Windows installation. That way, if you have to, you can always import them. Then, as a test, goto the URL opera://settings/system and disable hardware acceleration if that's an option and restart Opera. For passwords, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords, click the kebab menu (3 vertical dots) to the right of 'Saved Passwords' and choose to export your passwords to a csv file. Select any entries named Opera Internet Browser or opera.exe, then select End task. On your keyboard, press the Control, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time. Forcing it to close and restarting it usually fixes this problem. Or, if there's an option to submit it, do so, and post the crash id here. Sometimes Opera can get stuck as it launches. Then, if possible, goto the URL opera://crashes to see if Opera logged the crash and submitted it. Then, restart Opera and get Opera to crash. Goto the URL opera://settings/privacy, and make sure both "Automatically send crash reports to Opera" and "Help improve Opera by sending feature usage information" are turned on.
